Double Subtitles

I use VobSub to see .srt subtitles in a movie(xvid) with Media Player but the subtitles (I mean the exactly same subtitles) appear in two places on the screen , one on the bottom of the movie and one on the bottom of the "black".

How can I fix this?

Turn one of them off. MPC has internal subtitle support, so you get them twice.

To turn off vobsub temporarilly: Right click the video

Filters>DirectVobSub>Hide subtitles.

To always turn off:

Filters>DirectVobSub> "General Tab" > Loading = "Never"

You can turn them back on through the start menu.


For MPC's subtitles, right click video:

Subtitles>Enable

MPC remembers this setting from play to play.

Personally I prefer MPC's so I'd turn of VobSub.
