Hi,
I was not sure how specifically to do this, or for it to be done easiest.
But my problem is that I have my original Fox UK DVD movie "Alien Nation", which has one sole English HoH language track on it.
However a large part of this movie has the Aliens communicating in their own language. Often giving important plot points during this time.
This is not shown unless I physically select the English HoH subtitle track and then disable it afterwards as it is also containing all the normal english talking too.
What I was therefore wanting to do was to create my own subtitle track and somehow remove all of the English talking subs and just leave the subtitles for the Alien translation speaking in the movie.
This is where I am hitting a stumbling block. I am guessing it would be easiest to timestamp rip the entire subtitle track out of the DVD and then somehow delete all the subs par the few that I want to keep. (as any other way would likely be very time consuming).
And then once this is done to merge this subtitle track back into the DVD in the right time order it originally came from.
From googling however I can not find any programs that could easily do what I require.
I am guessing other people must have had a similar problem. So can I ask what would be the best method/applications to achieve this goal.
