I 've noticed that when I play back an MPEG2 file, VSFilter works perfectly and automatically outputs the subtitles that are in an SRT file in the same folder with the same name.
However, it does not do this for DVR-MS files.
Is there a way to change the video filetypes with which it works ?
Maybe some registry value I can change ?

VSFilter supports only some especific file types. AFAIK, it doesn't support DVR-MS.

VSFilter works with ALL filetypes that can be played through DirectShow. It is your player that prevents the filter from loading. WMP11 is notorious for sometimes not allowing intermediary filters (like VSFilter) to be loading into the graph.

OK, I don't mind using Media Player Classic, but it seems to have some problems with playing back DVR-MS.
Anyone know how to make it work properly with DVR-MS ?
