When I mux my subtitles into the .mkv format using mkv merge GUI they don't show up when playing in Media Player Classic. I have the selectable option to turn them on or off but nothing can get them to turn on. I'm using Media Player Classic 6.4.9.0 to view the file.

I read that VobSub could be a problem when trying to read the files, but I've removed that and it still doesn't work. I've inputted the .srt subtitles in with the rest of the movie and remuxed the file on default and UTF-8 settings (the .srt is UTF-8). I'm not sure where else to go from here.. is it my player, or something else?

You need vobsub or to register vsfilter in windows/system32 and configure Haali Splitter to use it.

CCCP (http://www.cccp-project.net/) :)

That did the trick, I installed the CCCP pack and remuxed all of the stuff together and it worked like a charm. I like the Zoom Player that was included as well! Now I just have to figure out the timings of the subtitles >_<
