Hi,
I have a bunch of avi files with ssa subtitles inside the container, my player (GOMPlayer) can't play the files with subtitles. They work, but the subtitles are not shown. Also, if I play the avi files on my divx player (hardware) the subtitles won't be shown either.

I've used AVI-Mux GUI and saw that each file has 3 streams, 1 video (xvid), 1 audio (mp3) and 1 subtitle (ssa).

The idea is to extract and the remove the subtitle file from the avi file. In the end, I want to have a standalone ssa and the avi file should only have 2 streams, audio and video.

How can I do that automated? I know how could I do it in AVI-Mux GUI for each file independently, but that's too much work. I also know that I can make scripts but I have no clue how to do this and for what I've read, there's no way to extract the subtitles from a script... I just hope I haven't read correctly. Can anyone help me out or suggest me another application?

Nobody is going to help, because it's obvious you didn't encode the files.

So what? I'm just asking for help on how to work with some open-source software...

I just love the people that go randomly trolling for rule 6 violations.
