I have captured several VHS with my liteon DVD writer. I got several DVD VR and I transformed them to MP4v wth Imtoo dvd ripper..However, I want to add a disclaimer/logo to each video...and I can't!
I tried almost everything...virtualdub mod can not open this mp4v...does anybody has some ideas?
thanks!

Hi!
You could instead first convert your capture to DivX format instead...

what program can I use to convert and add the subtitle/logo?
most programs only accept the movie subtitle...

You should be able to use your same IMToo program to convert to DivX (or XviD) instead of .MP4 - and then use VirtualDub (or VirtualDubMod) to apply a logo...

it is a real possiblity.
However, the file size is much larger with either xivd or divx..
any other option?
thanks

After adding the logo, you could convert the DivX to .mp4...

but...will not lose quality in this conversion?

divx = mpeg-4 = mp4
which means you can simply mux a divx video stream to mp4 without needing to reencode
