2 simultaneous subtitle streams

Hi, I have one question regarding subtitles: Is it possible to show 2 or more DVD-Video subtitle streams simultaneously? If not, is anywhere a specification available which says it?

Only one stream at a time... If you need a similar result you can edit every subtitle (subtitles are bitmaps with 4 colors so you can put the text everywhere). Also some professional subtitles programs allow you to specify more than 2 lines (for example 2 lines of text at the top and 2 lines at the bottom) and more than one position to obtain a similar result

2vlada - you can recreate subtitles streams, from 2 stream create 1 additional. In any editor like Phohoshop you can create "splitted" subpicture files, andput on DVD your sub1, sub2 and new sub3 :)
