VSfilter gives me problems only with Vista Media Center, however, not with any other player. VMC will crash, but not always for some reason, but will only happen when browsing a folder of video folders while VMC tries generate a thumbnail of the AVI within the folder. It will either work or it will crash with no pattern - *always* the fault of VSfilter.dll as reported by the OS.
I notice there are 2 DS filters that load when registering VSfilter - dvobsub and dvobsub auto-loading. Are both necessary, as it seems as if gspot and CCCP test rendering seem to require the auto-loading filter alone, for AVI's at least.
