convert PAL Subpic (DVD Source) to NTSC Subpic

Hi,

I have a PAL DVD, how could I convert it's subtitle to NTSC without OCR process (PALSub-->text-->SubAdjust--->NTSCSub)?

This is not a PAL text Subpic to NTSC text Subpic. Text SubPic is easy to deal with but OCR process does not always determine bitmap characters correctly.

I mean VobSub(idx/sub) or bitmap sup from PAL to NTSC and vise versa.

You can convert idx/sub with Vobsub Cutter or Subresync.

As sub/idx is a graphical format, there are two things you can choose to transform:

1°) The size of the subtitles. However this is not easy and as NTSC size is smaller than PAL, you can keep the subtitle graphics as they are. Maybe a vertical shift will be needed: You can do a shift using SubtitleCreator for example.

2°) Depending on the DVD there can be different timing differences. You can use SubResynch or SubtitleCreator to adjust the timings of your subtitles.
