The first version of ccextractor (which I mentioned a few days ago) is now in sourceforge. Source code and binaries for both linux and windows are included in the release file.

ccextractor is a port of McPoodle's SCC_RIP, but it can also extract captions from transport streams. .ts files are easy to find lately, so if you need transcripts for a TV show or whatever, this should make it easy to get one.

Program doesn't run on a Win2000P system. It gives an error that a .NET DLL failed to properly load (and the failed file was in the .NET directory that the program was looking). Dot NET is running (AFAIK, it's the latest version - less than 3 months old).

I know that it will make the file much larger, but is it possible to compile the program as a stand-alone application?
