The first version of ccextractor (which I mentioned a few days ago) is now in sourceforge. Source code and binaries for both linux and windows are included in the release file.

ccextractor is a port of McPoodle's SCC_RIP, but it can also extract captions from transport streams. .ts files are easy to find lately, so if you need transcripts for a TV show or whatever, this should make it easy to get one.
