I use ffdshow/VSfilter to play external sub files ripped with VSRip. When VSfilter auto-loads I have choice of languages of course, but is there a way to have only English subs appear that would appear on the DVD as "foced"?
IOW, those subs that are English translations of foreign languages in an predominantly English film. Or, is there no way to extract that "force subtitle" flag and create another stream of forced subs?
As a side note, I never had to have the ffdshow subtitles tab checked off when using VSfilter in WMP. Now, in the recent builds it seems that this is necessary if there is a subtitle file in the same directory as the AVI, otherwise the movie won't play. In fact, it crashes Media Center altogether unless I check off the subtitles tab. Does that sound normal??
