Recently I rip a lot of NTSC (FILM) material and the subs made with SubRip 1.20 are often not correct in time.

I could repair this with delay and stretching, but this is not my preference, because it's just a guess and I want it original, because on the DVD it's correct. So the information must get lost somewhere or never read. So I'm wondering, what I can do?

Earlier with PAL DVDs I had never Problems like this, but I also didn't copy the IFO file to use it in SubRip. Could this be the problem?

Is it worth to try the newest beta of SubRip?

Try to OCR with DVDSubedit, compare sub rip from Subrip with sub rip from DVDSubedit.
Do You have the same amount of line?
Are times different?
