I have tried and tried to play around with Subtitle Workshop but I can't seem to find a way to easily sync this subs and I need your help...
The subtitles are in the srt format and they start synchronized, the first couple of lines start exactly where people speak but then start to get a little bit fast and in the end they are like 5 seconds early. (the 5 seconds is just an example)
But they are not always 5 seconds early. Let's just say the video is divided like this:
|----|----|----|----|
A B C D E
In point A the subs are synced, point B they are 0.5s earlier, point C 1.0s earlier, point D 1.5s earlier, point E 2.0s earlier and so on... Of course, these values are just examples so you understand what is happening. From the start to the end of the movie, the subtitles are getting faster and faster, they start ok, but then they are showing earlier and earlier within each second.
How can I fix a problem like this?
