muxing gets wrong filesize and length...

hi,

i'm having a problem with muxman not muxing the a dvd in full length. i've tried so many different times i've already formatted and reinstalled xp! and the same error again. my hd is serial ata but i don't think that should be a problem as i have no problems with it.

this is the situation:

brand new xp install
NTSC dvd decrypted in ifo mode (dvd decrypter) to c:\popsa, plays right length
pgcdemux'ed 1.2.0.5 to c:\popsa, video and audio files play right length
muxman'ed 0.15P video + audio + subtitlecreator-rendered subtitle file

original dvd size is 3.68 GB and length 57m
now after muxing size is 2.81 GB and length 41 m

it's just as if muxman had "forgotten" to mux the final part.

VTS_01_4.VOB

btw, the part not muxed does not coincide with VTS_01_4.VOB but is somewhere in the middle of VTS_01_3.VOB

i check the muxman log to read:

i'm not a coder but strangely enough everything seems to be ok with muxman... or not? what i do know is i'm not getting the right muxing and i'm following the same steps i've always done. a few weeks ago i realized if i imported chapters (ifoedit style) this error would happen. now, it does not matter whether i import the chapters or not, muxing will just get wrong.

please, any piece of advice is more than welcome.

Try this:
1) If you have dvdlab, rewrite GOP
or
2) Use latest FixVTS on the original dvd files BEFORE you demux

thanks for your insight. yeah, you must be right. i realized the problem was in the original files and not in the muxing when i demuxed with vobedit instead. it just worked flawlessly. they, i thought there might be something wrong with the GOP. i'll try out your two options.
