Big thanks to nalor (http://forum.doom9.org/member.php?u=219284) for his FindVUK tool (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=172472) which helps to enrich the AACS Central Database :)

Now the update of the day, 544 new keys (92 from FindVUK - nice with disc names) so total now 5228 keys for 5192 discs

That Gravity Disc ID 0x9FA48378070F6DCC397623E1DB598494F0969352 with the VUK E03EB751317D13786799C9E8054B40CE doesn’t work for me:

not sure but I guess it should (trick is based on memory dump so if DVDFab Passkey works in vm, it should)

I can tell that I already tried DVDfab passkey in a virtualbox environment with a virtualized windows 7 and it worked without any problems - the only thing that has been necessary is to enable the passthrough mode for the bluray drive.

A side note to this, I don't have a 3D display but thought I'd post the VUK anyway. Another thing to note is that in Linux (Arch in my case) using smplayer the main menu is blank but still registers input, the user would have to navigate blindly. Only thing I can think of is a OpenJDK instead of using regular Java. These discs also use cinavia protection, just a heads up.

As far as I can see most of the new entries are from a file that user 'mbrp' posted in 2010 here (in this thread on page 15): http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1506970#post1506970 - honestly I thought you excluded them when you started with your database because it's still a strange action to create exactly 1 post with ~5700 VUKs ;)
(this archive can still be found in the file named 'KEYDB-13-09-2011' that another user posted 2 posts later than the one from mbrp)

In the original file there are also additional entries for the different discids available: D, M and I

M (Media Key) and I ( Volume ID) are not that interesting, but the D entry with the 'Date of the DiscID file' looks interesting to me because it allows to get a feeling of the age of the disc - (this is the reason why I implemented a feature into FindVUK to write this data as well into the local keydb.cfg file).

Additionally in the file there are a lot of nice TITLE available that are currently present with '_NONAME_' in the current main keydb file - I think it would be a good idea to import the original titles also from this file.

The first entry is 'GUARDIANS_OF_THE_GALAXY (MARVEL'S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - BLU-RAY™)' and as I own this bluray I know that the correct VUK is already in the database but this entry is a duplicate in the database with a different VUK that cannot be correct (because there cannot be 2 discs with the same DISCID but different VUK).

The second entry is 'MAZE_RUNNER (Maze Runner – Die Auserwählten im Labyrinth)' and I borrowed the disc from a friend and just reported the correct VUK with AACSupdater - the one above is also wrong.

Please remove them from the database - thanks!

Hi,

Please find some new VUKs. I tried AACS updater, but it did not seem to upload them. Anyway, this is the complete X-File set on Bluray (UK edition), which was released today. 57 discs! Plus the 2 movies. Interestingly, only the movies are protected with BD+, the series is protected with AACS only.

I kinda believe that nowadays the PK is simply never present at all in the memory of a player (search for "white box cryptography"). Another possibility is that PKs are no longer the same for every disc (given version of MKB), but are different for every disc (see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=955662#post955662). Or maybe players are processing MKBs online on their servers;)

However, I appreciate your proposal, I'll consider,but it may require me to write some database scripts, as well as VUK format translation, if I can do it we'll be able to treat some VUK lists posted here much more easily, I'll keep you posted.

Hi Starbuck, the keys I posted here: http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1749090&postcount=371 seem to be missing from the latest version. Also, they do not upload automatically with AACS Updater. Is there a bug?

@Starbuck2010: the keys posted on the 4 first pages of this thread should be removed from keydb.cfg. They use a different discid and the keys are actually unitkeys, not vuks

They are in this format

I've updated my small application to search for duplicate entries in keydb.cfg and find missing, different and/or identical entries between 2 keydb.cfg files a little bit.
Here's the changelog:
