Hello, :)

In fact, I have encode five series from a dvd to xvid with VO language (Japanese) and French subtilities for a friend.
My method:
- rip all with Dvddecrypter one after one: Ifo/direct stream copy/video+VO Japanese+sub French
- after Dgindex (D2v+ audio)
- create avsfile with GK and I used VDM (Vobsub plugins):AVS+ VTS Ifo (subtitle)
- and encode to Xvid with subtitle + multiplexing audio.

It's all.

But my question, is to know if it is possible to add all these subtilities that i ripped all series with DVDShrink :without compression/ japanese language and french subtilities for an encode to Xvid+subtitles.

My real problem is that all subtilities have its own program.

We shall say me that it is possible to use my first method and join them. but it waste my time.

How to do or to made better?

Thank you very much, sorry for my translation.

I have read your post several times but still don't know what you are trying to do.

Sorry BigCondor, it difficult for me to explain better.
But i try again:

- My DVD (mangas) is : "HUNTER"
- It have 5 episodes
- I have ripped this DVD with DVD Shrink in mode File without compression ( Videos + Japanese audios + French subtilities):
vts1 (video+jap audio+fr sub), vts2 (idem), vts3(idem) etc...

My question is:
How can i do to keep all subtitles episodes for encode to Xvid in only once?
that is to say: Episode1+ episode2 +....episode5 TO Xvid (videos + audios jap + subtitles (sub Episode1+ sub episode2 +....sub episode5).

Sorry again.

So you have 5 episodes in separate VTSs. Then handle each one separately will give you 5 avis. You can treat each as an individual movie and that's all!

it is what I did.
my question is different.

If you take a dvd with several episodes, the subtitles are different.
If you rip a dvd with several episodes and you wish to transform it into Xvid;thus can you add the subtitles with each episodes with vobsub?
Knowing that each subtitles have its track when you select with Vobsub.
Then, how do you proceed?

I explain again:

Let us admit that:
DVD=A; Xvid=B then DVD to Xvid= A to B

A=Ep1(Video1/Audio1/Sub1)+Ep2(idem2)+Ep3(idem3)+Ep4(idem4)+Ep5(idem5).

If you want to transform A to B, how do you proceed to obtain that:
B= A to Xvid; that is to say;
B= nEP (Ep1+Ep2+Ep3+Ep4+Ep5): nVideo (video1+vide2+video3=video4+video5) with nAudio (audio1+audio2+audio3+audio4+audio5) and nSub (sub1+sub2+sub3+sub4+sub5).

Are you understand?

So do you mean that you want to combine all 5 episodes into one file?
If this is the case I think you better join the VTSs first before ripping.
If your subtitles are hard-cored then you can as well join the 5 avis into 1 big avi using VirtualDubMod.
Any way, I don't see advantage of combining them.
