mpg2srt.exe translates about 25% of DVD's with closed captions recorded from TV into following ways,

scctools was totally unsuccessful for me.

What other software can I use? or what can i do?

Hi, Thanks for the ping dvasco. Interesting to see other folks using mpg2srt.

Just for the record, mpg2srt is parsing captions this way so that 'pop on' captioning, such as used in live broadcasts appears exactly how the original was broadcast. I understand folks don't always want the captions stripped out that way, so I do plan to offer a choice on how to handle them.

Just need time - working obscene hours lately but as soon as my schedule permits this will get done. Hang on in there.
