I don't know if this has happened before, I tried the search function but I wasn't successful at finding a solution to my problem, hence the thread.
What I did:
Ripped a DVD of the anime Berserk (It contained 2 PGCs each ~2hours long, but I only ripped the first) using this guide:

I followed it word for word to the maximum extent possible. The only place where I might have been sloppy is where you configure and add another job. I did not hit the reset button, I just kept opening a new .d2v file and continuing with the guide from that point on.
What is wrong:
I copy the file from the "Projects" folder, and I copy it to the folder where I intend to keep the rest of my DVD/Anime backups. I play the file from there and alas, I do not see the subtititles. I use Media Player Classic, and I played both files from both the "Projects" folder, and from the folder where I copied it to. I can see the subtitles when I play from the "Projects" folder, but I can't, when I copy it to any other folder (I tried several other places).
What can I do to fix this? :scared: All help/suggestion is appreciated and thank you in advance. I also thank the person who wrote the above said guide for helping me in this effort.
P.S.: Just for clarification, even the very first file I encoded (not the ones that I added - because I know I might have messed up there), the subtitles don't show up when I copy the file. And if I can change the font into something else like "Palatino Linotype" (I know they are stored as bitmaps on DVDs), that would be helpful, since the subtitles on DVDs aren't the best looking (aka, crappy typesetting, if I may say so).
Edit #2: Erm, I figured out that if I copy the .idx file and the .rar file, I can see the subtitles. Is there anyway I can just encode them onto the .avi so that I don't have to copy .idx and .rar? And if I burn this to a DVD (The original was a 3DVD set; I can potentially save it all as .avi into one DVD if I need to take it somewhere or something). My aim is to transform the DVD into something akin to the Fansubs that you can get from the internet. I apologize for the trouble, and thank you for reading my post.
