Trying to rip dvd to Mpeg

Not sure what I am doing wrong but am pretty new to this. I am trying to rip my copy of The Da vinci code to an Mpeg 2 for use on media center and play back through my Xbox 360. I have been using dvd decrypter for most of this and it has worked great as long as I run Video Redo in it after. However how for Da Vinci I needed to use RipIt4ME to proprerly get the right sectors. I picked AC3 5.1 and the english subtitles. When it is complete though I do not get any subtitles in the scenes where they are speaking Latin. How do I get these subtitles to show up?

Hi!I picked AC3 5.1 and the english subtitles.Whatever you've used to pick these should also have a choice of "Forced subtitles" or similar, which is what you should select...

I don't see that selection in Dvd Decrytper. I am Using IFO mode. Does DVD shrink or Video redo have these features? Sorry if this is a basic question but I couldn't find anything in search.

My apologies. Upon re-review of this DVD title, I've noted that there is not a separate subtitle/subpic(ture) stream for the forced English subtitles. Rather, they are accessed from within the English subtitle stream.

Therefore, if you want to include them in your MPEG, I believe you'll have to rip them separately, using a program such as "SubRip" (and setting it to extract ONLY "forced subtitles") - and then incorporate them into your video...

**EDIT** Or, as I've just discovered, you can use DVDSubEdit

OK so any recommendations on what to use for an output format and what to use to put the subtitles into the Mpeg?
