srt asynchron with BSplayer

When I mux an avi with only one mp3 I have no problem with the srt. But when I mux the same avi only with an additional audio track (same length, same bitrate, same kHz) the same srt is OK at the beginning, but runs gradually out of sync. After one hour its more than 1 sec ahead. Jumping does not help to resync. I have muxed with VirtualDub and AVI-Mux - no difference.
Sync between video and the audio streams is always OK. So, what's going wrong?
I use the last non ad version of BSplayer? Maybe it's time to look for another player...?

you're right, it's time to look for another player ;)
If it works in other players the fault almost certainly lies with the bug-riddled program that is early versions of BSP :) That said, the latest versions seem to work without much hassle at all.

I tried to play it with MPC, but it didn't show the subtitles even after switchiung to VLM 7 or 9.
I'll give VLC the last chance before I probably resign and use the correction mode in BSplayer.

do you have an external subtitle renderer installed (ie vsfilter)? Anyway, the easy way to fix your playback is to install the CCCP :D See my sig for the link.

A package which supports only one or two players? That sounds not really good, honestly.
Anyway I don't like packs like that. Rather I try to get exacly what I need and keep my system smart. I don't think that it will help, but I will give it a try. If it works, I could at least find out, what part is buggy.
I haven't installed an external subtitle renderer, but as I told, when I mux only one audio stream, then it works.

Yesterday I tried to mux with another muxer (VirtualDubMod) and played the dual audio stream avi with another player (CorePlayer) - same problem. So in my opinion it's neither a problem of the muxer nor of the player. But what can it be else? :confused:

Well, the CCCP is just a collection of directshow components, so it's technically supported in pretty much any media player, it's just that most try and add 'features' which actually tend to cause bugs - those two are pretty popular and are as compatible as graphedit is for playback.

As to your problem, what splitter are you using for AVI? Are any strange/evil filters like morgan stream switcher inserting themselves into your playback graph?

Actually I can restore my XP sp2 system (and do it) quite easy and fully (not only restore points) to an almost plain system. In that I have installed only BSplayer (last non ad version 1.38 or 1.39), PowerDVD 6channel and nothing else regarding to my problem, except drivers. Normally I have to add only the DivXInstaller. When I encode a DVD then I install GordianKnot ONLY with VirtualDubMod, AVISynth, DVD2AVI (or the new name) as well (no vobsub). That's it.

Finally I found the bug: The DivX Media Playback Support Modul within the DivXInstaller seems to play multi audio stream AVIs too slow (both video and audio), so the subtitles (which are controlled by BSplayer, because there are extern) seem to be too fast.
Without installing that buggy splitter modul and letting BSplayer (or probably any other player, who can handle multi audio stream AVIs) the control of splitting the streams it works synchron to the subtitles.
