Hi

I can't find the answer in the SUBTITLES SECTION forum so I gotta ask this:

How do you convert a .SUP file from from a PAL DVD to .SUP file for a NTSC DVD?

I want to convert the elementary streams (Video & Audio extracted by PGCDEMUX) from PAL to NTSC. If I use the original PAL .SUP file on the revised NTSC streams, it will be soddin' out of synch.

When converting PAL to NTSC, is it "25fps to 29.97fps" or "25fps to 23.97fps" ... or something like that !?!?

I heard you can use TMPGENC for the video & BeSweet/Goldwave for the audio. IS this correct?

How about the chapter points? How do I convert the CELLTIMES.txt (extracted by PGCDEMUX) from PAL to NTSC?

Ok moderators ... is this question OK this TIME?

CHEERS!

You can use dgpulldown (http://neuron2.net/dgpulldown/dgpulldown.html) for PAL to NTSC conversions w/o having to modify neither audio nor subtitles timecodes.

I don't know a simple way to convert subtitles (changing resolution from 720x576 to 720x480).

at this chapter i got a problem...
i want to put a new subtitle in a dvd, i do it with pal, but when i try with NTSC i fail. i rip the movie in a divX format, (Dr, DivX convert auto from 29.97->23.976) video audio srt work perfect, but when i mux with dvd lab pro in ntsc subtitles have a delay at start, in middle work well, but to the end go foward. In the same way i did with pal and never have problem.Any ideea?

I never fail with Subtitle workshop, subtitle creator and subrip is everything you need for xvid, divx and dvd processing
