Help with subs

hey all! I am new to the forums so here goes.... OK i have this japanese movie and i also have the .srt subs for it. I have the movie in a vob file and also in Mp4. i want to put the subs into the file so that when i play it it displays subs. :thanks:

Could you give us more details.

Do you want to hardcode the subs in your movie or do you want them to be selectable?
Do you want to play the final result on a PC, or on a home DVD/Divx player?
etc...

I would like to hardcode the subs into the movie so then i could put it onto my ipod and play it from there. i dont think there is a way to turn subtitles on from the ipod.. if thats what your looking for there goes.. thanks by the way. ^^

:readguid: hi again... I also have read on this site a guide that a user named bond put out. It explains how to put the subs onto the Mp4 file useing Mp4box.exe and a script that he wrote himself....only problem is that i am a real newbie at this kinda of stuff and i wasn't able to follow his guide. If anyone has experience with helping noobs then i am asking for help.

PS. man i love that guys eyes ^ lol
