Hi!
I extracted the subs using VsRip. After muxing them with video, Media Player Classic refused to display them. SubResync also failed to display the subpics properly..

Only SubRip could recognize the text during OCR process..

Here's an example of such problematic subs: http://rapidshare.de/files/23968025/Howl_subs_rus.rar.html

I never had such problem with any other sources..

Funny subs indeed... my home made parsing reveals that there is a built in fade in/out, implemented with multiple control sequences playing around with alpha channels.

Anyways, mplayer (MPUI for Win32) is capable of showing the subs.

[edit] Thx for the sample, it helped me to debug a small thing of mine. Try if these corrected subs (internal fades removed) work better: http://rapidshare.de/files/24063304/tmp.zip.html

Yes, the corrected subs are displayed..

What corrections have you done, and how can I do them, if this problem will come again? :)
