I've been making backups of my 'Family Guy' DVD collection and I decided to reip the subtitles. The first 7 episodes seem to work fine, with the subtitles showing when needed. However, a recently muxed MKV file wouldn't show any subtitles even though DirectVobSub automatically works (and the subtitle stream is chosen inside MPC). Note that I am not using MPC's internal subtitle filter, I am using the filter that came with the Matroska Pack. I tried several different output methods with MPC but with no luck, subtitle dont work in WMP as well.
I have installed:
Latest Matroska Pack
Latest ffdshow
Is there any way that ffdshow could conflict with DirectVobSub from the Matroska Pack. Is there any way I can find out why, subtitles work for on file and not another?
Finally, here is my MatroskaDiag report from a file where the subtitles dont work. It mentions not being able to get ffdshow to handle the subtitles, but why doesn't it DirectVobsub?
