Subtitles in Media player classic [Archive]

I have a mp4 file I made with suptitle in nero recode that shows the subtitle in show time but does not show in MPC.
The subtitle tab in the play menu of MPC is not activated.
It seems I am using "ffdshow Mpeg 4 video decoder".

Any Idea why MPC has subtitle disabled?

By the way I did a search and found:

Read the question 7 in this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62723).

Maybe you have you're using MPC's internal mp4 splitter to view your mp4 file, which doesn't support the ttxt stream. Disable the internal splitter, and get an external splitter.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that MPC for me does not even show subtitles for DVDs. So its not only an mp4 issue.
