hi, im trying to use this "perfect" software or me, for convert srt 2 sst... my point is create subtitles from a NLE software, but, this program dont split long lines. and a can't find a "escape" character to make it split... ive tried \n, \\\, \N, |, etc... anyone can help? i really like to use that program, and not subrip and others...

Try to use Subtitles Worskhop before. You can use Ctrl+E, and if it is not enough, Ctrl+Shift+V (this will split). But if your splitted subtitle have dialogues, after splitting you'll need to manually delete "- ".

SubtitleCreator automatically splits long lines - the setting Auto-wrap lines in the formatting menu is on by default...

You can insert a manual line break by adding a "|" character (doubleclick a line in the text subtitles to be able to edit it).

Also, notice that if one or more lines in a subpic exceeds the width of the target area, the line is marked with blue - the option "Highlight too long lines with blue" in the Settings menu is on by default. (You can also turn on the setting "Warn for errors before converting" to warn for too long subtitle lines)

i think theres a conflict, the program is "Subtitles Creator", is a diferent software from "Subtitle Creator"...

Lol, you're right, I was referring to SubtitleCreator (.srt -> .sup tool). Sorry :)

As Mtz suggested, you could try opening the .srt file in a text subtitle editor like Subtitle Workshop, first...
