here the problem:
I added some subtitles to a movie, I opened the movie with DvdSubEdit, and, no way, I cannot get the subtitle to good colors: infact, the backgorund of teh subtitles and the inside of the sub refers to teh same pixel type.
How can I change that?

Earlier, I added to another movie some subtitles, and I successfully made it with DvdSubEdit...So, I can do it..
there's something wrong - don't know where - that associates background pixel and inside pixel to the same pixel..

I'll appreciate very much your help!

How did you add the new subtitles to the DVD, step by step?

using the same method of same time ago..this (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/ifoedit-dvdauthor.htm) is the guide, and this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=107713) is the old thread...

the film is always the same...yesterday I got finally all the things completed to reauthore it, and, surprise!, the color subtitle didn't work very well anymore! :(

however, I downloaded a *.sub file, I made some corrections with Microsoft Word, and then with SubtitleCreator I convrted the *.sub in a *.sup ...and then everything like the guide, I remuxed with IfoEdit...(I think it's also strange that VLC doesn't see the sub stream, instead win media player and my standalone players do!

EDIT: is it possible to copy the color configuration from a correct *.sup and import it in my mistaken *.sup ??

EDIT 2: I got the soultion, tomorrow I'll post it for future users who may have the same problem....thanks a lot to CoNS and all his useful posts and guides found here&there! ;)
