Can Subrip output a file with FPS different from the source's one?

I'm curious to know that.
I have a DVD pal and would like to rip the subs in BMP format (Philips SVCD) but getting a file that has the times already changed to 23.976. I want to use the subtitles with a similar NTSC divx.

I need the file to be directly changed by subrip. If a take another software, for instance subtitle workshow, to change the times, then I can't use the converted sub file to make an xsub with bmptoxsub.exe.

Of course I could rip the subs in text file and then change the FPS, but I just want to know if there is a way to convert them during the rip in bmp format.

I think it's not possible.

Right now SubRip is set to disable the FrameRate DropDown ComboBox in the output format options window when the framerate is known, so indeed you can't change it. Even when changing the FrameRate for text formats, you need to restart the process in order to have the new FrameRate applied. Long story short... not going to happen soon, the very little time I have to spend on SubRip will be spent on other things.
