Subtitle Creator method problems

Hello everyone,

I have read this guide: How to add your own subtitle to DVD (keep menu, multi-episode, multi-pgc) (http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=275603)
And with the first 6 DVDs, this guide worked perfectly for me! Totally no problems.
But that was some time ago I must say. Yesterday I needed to do this again. So I followed the process untill step 5 everything went good.
But after I used MuxMan to get my Remuxed copy, in which you could always see the subtitles (in wrong colours), I could see all the original ones, but the ones I added not! When I selected them in Powerdvd simply nothing appeared.
Does anyone have an idea why this could be?
I also updated my programs I use for this (newer versions came out) but it didn't help....

Hi Kuba,

From your description I take it that you're testing the outputted DVD from MuxMan before copying it back into the original DVD structure with VobBlanker (step 7 in the guide)?

There're several things you can do to check where in the process it goes wrong.

First, check if the new .SUP file you created with SubtitleCreator is fine. You can load the .SUP file into DVDSubEdit and check if everything is there, and if the time codes seem to fit etc. If there's something wrong with the .SUP file, you should check your settings in SubtitleCreator again. And if that doesn't help, check you text subtitle file, or try creating the .SUP file with Srt2Sup instead, for testing purposes.

Second, if the .SUP file looks fine, you should check the steps in MuxMan again, to see if you're missing anything. For testing purposes, you could try authoring (muxing) the new DVD with IfoEdit or ReJig instead, as the guide also suggests.

I tried checking the .sup file, it was alright. Remuxing with Ifoedit gave me thesame effect as MuxMan, but Rejeg worked!!

There's just one thing: I heard Rejeg isn't good for PAL movies? I checked mine, and it's perfect....
