Im looking to create subtitles from scratch, i cant find for particular movie subs in different language. Does anyone have idea is there any tool to detect/create timecode from scratch while playing so i dont have to enter it manually every line?
Thanks!

Use SubtitleWorkshop, it lets you set times by pressing keys when watching the movie.

Ummm... there may be many reasons for that, like maybe the audio is not muxed in, but in a separate .wav or .mp3 file. Open it in VirtualDub and look in file onformation, see if the audio is there. If it is, you may not have the right codecs installed. ffdShow usually takes care of that for you.

Thats what ive tried to tell in my previous post, the audio isnt muxed in,(its in .wav) and i would like not to mux it in while video is done with vfapi fake avi for virtual dub. Is it possible to have loading in subtitleworkshop without audio muxed in so i can still hear it? It seems that subtitleworkshop having trouble with vfapi codec because i can see it says it isnt properly installed, but i installed it properly and works for vdub without a problem.
Also can you point me to add subs properly because im not sure if im doing it the right way with shortcuts.
Thanks!

Maybe you can load the .avi and the separate audio track with AviSynth and play both in SubtitleWorkshop? Or just the audio track could work as well.
