How can I mux subtitle into a vob file?

There is no subtitle in to original vob, and I want to add subtitle but I dont want recompression (MPEG2>MPEG2+Sub).
Can I demux the mpeg2 to m2v and mpeg1 audio and remux the m2v, mpeg1 audio and my homebred substitle together?

How can I make a DVD compliant subtitle file and mux it into a vob?
What is the name of the software I should use?

Sorry, I have searched, and I find a guide.
But I have another question, does Vob support Karaoke subtitle?
