Hi, dear all.
I am trying to find a "ideal" color for my dvd subtitles on my authoring projects.
In my country, for example, the most subtitles on dvd's are white. VHS, for other instance, are almost golden/yellow ones.
Particularly, I prefer yellow/golden ones, because they are very visible for reading, even in a clear / shining scenes from movies. And the white ones sometimes disappear in the same situations.
I could find the color above to experiment in some subtitling projects:
-html: #d7ed39
-delphi: $0039EDD7
-c++: 0x39EDD7
-vb: &H0039EDD7&
1) Do you suggest other colors/ hexadecimals?
2) And, for those who prefer the yellow/golden subtitles, which hexadecimals for that color (yellow/golden/ similars) and their variants do you use with success for nice readibility in your authoring projects?
3) Finally, in your opinion, which "Pick Colours" do you recommend for those who wanna choose and test many kinds of colors and variations for subtitling purposes?
