I decided to rip and edit some subs off a dvd and having not done it for a while I saw that subrip has a new version 1.50. So im using that and after a long process I've finished but I can't save the file! Every time I click save it just jumps and some ANSI features appear and a save button in the corner. I click that and it flips back but with no save! Help, I don't want to have to sit through it again is it was a rip with ALOT of manual inputs!

Well I had to close it lol. I downgraded to 1.30 and the save works how I imagined it would. Is this a 1.50 bug im experiencing? I hope someone knows whats going on. 1.50 has the features I need...

Well, if you have text in the window, select the apropriate encodig for your language. When you press Save it should pop up a save dialog as usual. I'm saying "if you have text" because that's the only time when it doesn't save for me: when the text window is empty.
Also, save the character matrix so that next time you won't have to input things manually. If you had some "too large to process" items, then you may want to change the "min inter line height" value in the Advanced OCR setup window.

PS: In the future, address your questions in the SubRip sticky topic above, I don't check the rest of the forum that often.

I thought that's what should happen but it wouldn't do that. I think maybe the software is broke. I couldn't download it from your site as the download brakes half way through. Is there an official mirror for 1.50?
