ffdshow and embedded MPEG 4 Timed Text Subtitles

I tried to render Timed Text Subtitles embedded into MPEG 4 file with ffdshow internal subtitles renderer (using MPC in normal rendering (notVRM9), VSFilter disabled).

It works but it renders everything in normal fonts (no italics).

The source file is a SRT file mux into the MP4 with mp4box.
If I extract the subtitle from the MP4 to SRT format, it still contains italics subs, so I think the style information is inside the MPEG-4 but not used by ffdshow.

(for informationm it is the same problem if I use VSFilter or the MPC internal subtitles renderer in VRM9 mode.)

Is there a way to render the style from ttext subtitles using ffdshow ?

ffdshow can handle fonts with size and color attributes, but not italic afaik?

Odd, I just lately made some dvd-backups and the italics worked on those. Only broblem was that the normal text used the font defined by ffdshow configuration and italics used a font defined by the mp4box (when you convert the .sub/.srt file to .ttxt the .ttxt file has defined a font for the italics). So it was little bit stupid/annoying looking when the italic text was also in a completely different looking font.
