Idx & Sub on DivX Standalone?

To use this subtitle format on a divx standalone do you just burn the .avi file together with the .idx & .sub files? Thanks in advance

Yeap. All the files with the same filename...

movie.avi
movie.sub
movie.idx

Issues:

* Not all of DVD/DivX players support IDX/SUB.

* If you make yourself the IDX/SUB (using the post-it "From srt to vobsub") the subs wont appear. But if you extract the subs straight from the original DVD (commonly named "subpack") it will work fine.
