I'm looking for a fast way to reposition existing subtitles on a DVD. I have some movies that I'd like to do backups on and move existing subtitles to the bottom of the visible area. So far I haven't found any tool that can do that (DVDFab can move subtitles but only "up").
Any suggestions?

Tried the long way following the guides for adding a subtitle stream.
1. Demux with VobEdit or PgcDemux.
2. SubtitleCreator -> Tools -> Manipulate SUP -> Load/move/save.
3. Ifoedit -> Author DVD -> Copy/Paste Subtitle Color.
And it worked but since DVDFab can do (almost) this without demux/remux it should be possible to do it in Ifoedit/PgcEdit or?

U should ask at Ifoedit/Pgcedit. This feature has never been revealed to me.

Thanks anyway. I'll test asking in the IFO/VOB Editors-forum.

Hi tekman,
Any luck on this? I'm looking to do exactly the same thing, but find the whole demuxing and reauthoring thing too time consuming. For adding new subtitles I can understand the need, but for repositioning existing subtitles (where probably only a byte of information is actually changed on the whole DVD), there's got to be a better way.

Nope, there doesn't seem to be any tools that can do this (yet?). Here's the continued thread in the other section: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=102019
