DVobsub and Girder

Okay, so I've seen many threads about trying to set up Girder to work with Direct Vobsub, but none of them seem to give much of a solution for making it work.

According to the txt files included with DVobsub, the F13-F17 keys are supposed to control the switching of subtitle files and toggling them on and off, but I can't for the life of me get them to do that just by using the keyboard, much less using Girder with a programmed remote control. Has this feature been removed?

If so, how is it possible to set this up? Has anyone found a way?

I am using Media Player Classic 6.4.8.3 with DirectVobsub Auto-Loading version 2.33. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I never found a way to control VobSub with Girder. But you can control FFDShow's subtitles filter. The filter in latest versions works really good, so I would suggest you to switch from VobSub to FFDShow.

Seconded: ffdshow now handles subtitles very well, and is much more cpu friendly than VobSub.
