SubRip Subtitle Ripping Help

Hello, ive been using SubRip for a long time to do subs for my Anime encodes but for one series i have been having some problems. The series is Initial D by TokyoPop. It seems that when im ripping the subs, everyhting goes smoothly until a section of italic subs comes up. In the italics probably about one in every 4 lines will have this problem. The problem is that instead of recognizing the whole letter as a character, subrip recognizes the outline of a letter as multiple characters. If you need a picture i can post one. To explain it agian, subrip will start ripping italics and then in teh italics one in every 4 lines of text will have an error which makes it so that instead of recognizing one letter or number as one character, it recognizes the outline of each letter/number as multiple characters!

Please Help me :(

PS: i looked through the pages of subtitle threads in this section and i didnt see anyhting that sounded like the error im having so im sorry if its around here somewhere and i didnt see it :(

Just enter all the letters it has outlined.

I cant though because intead of one recognized characer per letter it has about 3, and then if i just put in the letter that it is recognizing and then skip the other 2 parts of it, then it saves that so whenever a part of a letter looks a little bit like it, itll mess the line up by putting the wrong letter.

Is there no way to fix this in options?

Try decreasing the distance between each line of two characters value in the advanced OCR settings.

Try to play with the settings in the --> options --> Advanced OCR setup.

Use the "Change color" button to set the colors correctly, the automatic procedure fails and gives you the antialiased areas as text. If the subtitles are defined that way (in normal lines a color is text, and in italic lines the same color is antialiased) you may ned to change the colors every time. Hopefully that won't be the case.
