Subtitle missing

Hello,

I always use the newest version of AutoGK for DVD transcoding including external subtitles.
Recently I came across a RC2 copy of "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" and I have problems extracting the subtitles. AutoGK failed and also VSRip.

There is always data in the .sub file, since it's over 4 MB. But Media Player Classic and DirectVobSub fail to show it. A problem I don't have with other rips at all.

Does anyone know a solution? (My software DVD player shows the subs of the original DVD without problems.)

Open up the .idx file with Subresync and check for negative timestamps. If that's your problem, then read this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=57711).

Hello!

Thanks for that hint, but the timestamps do look okay.

What else could be the problem? DirectVobSub is loaded during playback, but the subtitles just don't appear...
