Loading subtitles

Dear Mates,
How can i view the subtitle when i open a ripped movies. what player that support loading subtitle while playing...
I am currently using player classic, i did tried to load it but error...

In my experience, MPC auto-loading of subtitles does not always work, because it needs the filename to be exatcly the same of the movie (or you have to select it manually).
In most cases it's just easier (and better IMHO) to enable the subtitle feature of ffdshow. It will load the subtitle automatically using an heuristic search using the movie filename. And it also lets you force an specific subdir for lookup or an specific filename. It does accept embedded subtitles too (e.g. matroska). If you don't have ffdshow I strongly recommend you to install it.
You could also try VLC media player, it also has support to load subtitles even if the name doesn't match the movie.
By the way what is the subtitle format? Is it embedded or external?

is MPC Media player classic, how to enable the ffdshow? is it in MPC.
the subtitle format that i am currently dealing with is .srt, .sub.
what is the palyer that coul dpaly most of it?

Well, ffdhow is a DirectShow filter. In most cases it should be used automatically (due to a higher merti) by MPC or any other DirectShow (wmp, bsplayer, etc). You can do a very basic configuration in the install process, or just use the StartMenu shortcuts it creates to enable Subtitltes. You can find recent ffdshow builds by cd here:

As I said, VLC can also be more friendly than MPC regarding auto-loading subtitles. You can find it here:

That's no saying MPC subtitles doesn't work well, it just needs a more work to the same thing. Like the first thing would be setting the video output to VMR7 ou VMR9 (renderless) otherwise it will not render subtitles.

Hi Mate,
Thak sfor the help full tips, No wi cam load the sub in MPC but it come out in really weird cahracter such as ? %#$@!*)_&^, do i need to install other thing ..
and with vlc i installed it, but it could not play my video file when i did open with VLC. i download the 0.82 version(latest)

Well, perhaps your subtitles are using some specific character set. If you are using MPC subtitles you could try manually setting the character mapping in "Subtitles->DefaultStyle" (under "Font").
I never had this problem probably because my subtitles use the very common ISO-8859-1 or Windows-1252 charsets (also sometimes simply called "ANSI" in Windows).
