The subs on this disc are kind of weird. First, a picture:

There are 3 program chains and no angles. Choosing the first or third chain outputs an empty subtitle file. Choosing the second chain outputs a working file, but it is completely out of sync with the movie. What's weird is that the offset isn't constant; the first few subs are only ~10 seconds off, while the subs later on are off by a few minutes.
If I extract the subtitles using r4r, the timing is correct. However, the file misses the subs for 2 different scenes in the movie. I wonder if they could be the first and third program chains... Is there a way for me to check?
I'd love to keep the timing correct and get the missing subs. Is that possible?
Edit: Also, in the second chain, you can see that some VOB/Cells have a number in parenthesis. What are those?
