All the guides on add/replace sub on DVD involve demux, add/replace sub and re-mux. This process removed the layer break when dealing with DL. I like to know does this matter when burning the re-muxed, re-authored DVD? Or the burner/author can determine the new layer break? If I want to split the re-authored DVD into 2 single layer DVD-R, does the split procedure described in the guides of this site needs a layer break?
