Not long now... v1.00 RC1

It's been a while since the last update, so I thought I'd let everyone know that you're going to see a (Pro) v1.00 release candidate soon. I've finally gotten the ILVU encoding working properly, but I need to do some more testing before I send it out to everyone. It should be no more than a few days...

I wildly underestimated the amount of work the ILVU encoding/authoring would be. I had a significant amount of the code written -- but then when I tested it against a really heavily ILVU disc (Invader Zim) I realized that it required way too much additional disc space... much more than what I considered acceptable. I had to go back to the drawing board and rewrite most of the ILVU code...

Anyway -- "soon" has proven to be a relative term, but I think it will truly will be soon now. And when v1.00 gets past the RC stage I'll start taking suggestions for improvements in v1.1.

Cheers!

How Ironic... one of the discs I've been waiting to backup is Zim volume 1. This is quite fortuitous indeed.

I've been waiting to backup the Zim volumes also. so far i used the ifoedit way, which isn't too bad considering the angle i removed isn't all that great IMHO.

Great job Jdobbs. Just out of curiousity other than bug fixes and IVLU is there any other features that are going to be added prior to V1.00 RC? Don't take this as a complaint because I really do appretiate the hard work that you put into this program, it was more of a curiousity question.

Thank you again for the hard work.
