SVCD -> DVD-R joining prog

Hi everybody

I'm not shure this is the right forum, but as I intend to author a (relatively) complex DVD, I assume this will do. On an other hand, I'm quite shure this has already been asked, but I can't remember a convincing answer.

Here we go. Is there a prog that can join-cut-edit (mainly join-cut) mpg files, keeping available both two muxed audio streams and one to four muxed sub streams, avoiding to demux-join-remux my SVCDs to DVD-R, and preferably allowing to join-demux-remux... (Am I clear enough?).

Hope you'll can show me the way. Or a way. Or anyway.
