DVD burning help recquired

I have a Ricoh MP5125a and use Nero or Stomp to burn DVD's. I can burn dvds from a disk but when i try to burn the files from my HD NERO and STOMP dont seem to cope with files over 2.5gb. Nero comes up with focus or track error and Stomp just stops. They work perfectly fine if i burn small files. I am using Infiniti DVD+RW disks.

I use TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 and then neoDVDstandard4 to turn the files into DVD files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

OK, What you need is a dvd authoring program, when tmpg encodes files it just encodes it as one big file (but to dvd standard using dvd template) then you have to author your film to split it into 1gb vob files and to create ifo & bup files, i can recommend as a starter ifoedit`s dvd authoring feature its simple to use.

Hope this helps.
