Can't use DVD Decryptor
Can someone help me out here? I can't seem to use DVD DEcryptor.
it says it can't detect any aspi devices. i have a DVD-ROM drive (its a shuttle 10x dvd-rom drive).. i can rip files using smartripper in FILE mode..smartripper can't see any aspi devices either. I installed the latest version of adaptec's aspi drivers. I ran ASPICHECK. it says ASPI is properly installed and fully operational. My ASPI32.SYS is version 4.7 WOWPOST.EXE IS 4.6 winaspi.dll is 4.6 wnaspi32.dll is 4.7 DvdDecryptor says this when it starts up. I 18:19:19 DVD Decrypter Version 3.1.1.0 started! I 18:19:19 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Build 2600) I 18:19:19 Initialising ASPI manager... I 18:19:19 WNASPI32.DLL - Adaptec's ASPI Layer - ASPI for Win32 (95/NT) DLL - Version 4.7.0.0 I 18:19:20 Searching for ASPI compatible host adapters... W 18:19:20 Found 0 ASPI compatible host adapters! W 18:19:20 No devices detected! W 18:19:20 Drive C:\ (FAT32) does not support files > 4 GB W 18:19:20 Drive D:\ (FAT32) does not support files > 4 GB W 18:19:20 Drive E:\ (FAT32) does not support files > 4 GB ________ cheap vaporizers Last edited by atreides93; 21st January 2011 at 08:25. |

I got it working!!
i tried an older version of the adaptec drivers, but this time using forceASPI. even though the stupid adaptec drivers installed ok, for some reason they don't work. but forceASPI does work.. whatever! i'm pretty impressed with the ripping speed of dvddecryptor! very nice! ________ Honda NU50M Last edited by atreides93; 21st January 2011 at 08:25. |

One day, perhaps Adaptec will release an ASPI layer that actually works on All OS's and finds All the devices.
