hi
when i capture with hauppauge wintv with fm and 768*576 i´m getting these darned green lines. when i lower res to 640*480 all is fine. videcodec - picvideo mjpeg qual. 18, virtualdub synchversion. p3 933mhz, 256ram, defragged drive. any suggestions what to do about it?

can i guess your board has via chipset?? if that is the case, than it could be due to pci speed problems. there's no known solution.

i had a similar problem (higher resolutions gave me these horizontal lines). it was worse on xp than on 98se. a partial solution for me was to disconnect a usb optical mouse (m$), which helped to cap at higher resolutions, but still not in 768x576.

although if i use dscaler at the highest pixel width (768) it's usually working ok.

the only thing you can try is mess with your system settings, try removing some devices/pci devices, close ALL other applications that are running during capture, etc.

Don't know if that helps, but you can lower the horizontal resolution to 720, as 768 does nothing but introduce more noise IMHO.
