Hi.
I work at a retail store, and I get asked this question at least 3 times a week, "How do I put my family vhs videos on a dvd?", or "How can I put video from my camcorder on a dvd?"
While I know the answer to this, I hate trying to explain the steps I take in making this happen.
1. Buy a capture card.
2. Use capture software like Virtual Dub to capture to avi.
3. Use Virtual Dub, or better yet Avisynth to frameserve.
4. Encode video with CCE, or TMPGEnc.
5. Author the DvD.
6. Burn.
After explaining my process, they look at me like I just told them how to build there own rocket ship. Most people don't want to know how to do it, they just want it done.
So, my question is, what one software can do all of these steps as easy as possible?
