Cannot Connect Avermedia Live Gamer Portable C875 to VirtualDub2
I am trying to use an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable C875 (not LGP2) to VirtualDub2 and I cannot seem to get it to connect to the driver. The latest driver is loaded and it is in the list under Capture/Device (pic1). When I click to select I get a "Cannot Connect to Desired Capture Driver" (pic2).
I probably have something misconfigured, but I can't seem to see what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

discusses similar problems with Hauppauge. The winning suggestion by Sharc was to run the capture sw installer once, and then not to use it further. If it helps here I don't know, just a hint...

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately no luck. Tried installing the Avermedia RECentral software. I was able to use it to capture VHS audio and video using Avermedia sw. However, got the same driver error the first time I tried and now I'm getting a crashed error message showing and Out of Bound memory access error.
