Like I say you before:

I can't help you with commercial directshow Nero Audio Decoder filters but the GUI UsEac3to can help you using ffmpeg.exe (must be in eac3to/UsEac3to/Encoders folder)
If you want downmix 5.1 to 2.0 and/or normalize an aac you need two steps (eac3to or AviSynth needs also 2 steps always):

Step 1:
1) Load your file and click in 'Add' FFMPEG More parameters. See first attached image.

2) In the new window search and select the ffmpeg filter '51-20v'. If not exist in your Vid_enc.par copy the text in the image or other downmix metod.
If you only want normalize leave only:
-af "volumedetect"

3) Close the window with 'Done' and the ffmpeg filter are now in the COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS

4) See the image 2. Click in 'A/V Recode'

5) Select the track desired in the 'map:X'

6) Select 'Add to DEC' to include the ffmpeg filter.

7) Select 'Decode...' to 'null'. When this run don't create files then is very fast.

8) Run and see:

Code:
...
video:0kB audio:485504kB subtitle:0kB other streams:0kB global headers:0kB muxing overhead: unknown
[Parsed_volumedetect_1 @ 000002308e4f3400] n_samples: 248578048
[Parsed_volumedetect_1 @ 000002308e4f3400] mean_volume: -36.9 dB
[Parsed_volumedetect_1 @ 000002308e4f3400] max_volume: -9.7 dB
...
Copy the max_volume value.

Step 2:

1) Edit the COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS replacing 'detect' with '=9.7dB' to obtain:
-af "pan=stereo|FL=.3694c0+.2612c2+.3694c4|FR=.3694c1+.2612c2+.3694c5, volume=9.7dB"

2) Repeat the previous 4), 5) and 6)

3) Now, instead 7) 'decode to null', select the desired output format and quality or bitrate.

About the recommended qaac settings:

-V, --tvbr <n> AAC True VBR mode / quality [0-127]
-v, --cvbr <bitrate> AAC Constrained VBR mode / bitrate

Use only the --cvbr when you need a fixed size, if not use your desired quality (for me -V 99 is transparent, 80 is good to save space)
Talking about standard stereo movie tracks (many dialogs and silences, without many music of effects) -v 192 is waste space.
For instance using -V 99 over a movie stereo track I obtain: VBR min./avg./max. : 4 / 143 / 406 Kb/s.
Go until 406 Kb/s when need it, but the average remain at 143.

I'm not sure about "low, med or high?", maybe the quality?

-q, --quality <n> AAC encoding Quality [0-2]

Use always the default 'high', the process is very fast you don't need save time with less quality.

I don't know what this strange inscription is due to, but I show it with a photo. The same error appears with StaxRip v.2.29.0 x64.

Like I say to madshi longtime ago that WARNING, not a ERROR, is useless, forget it.

24 fps is a normal fps.

Hi, hopefully someone can help me. When demuxing files with Japanese in the filename i get the language code 'Jap' I didn't think this would be a problem but when remuxing the files with mkvtoolnix I have found a problem - when deriving the language 'Jap' isn't recognised. The only code recognised is 'Ja' and 'Jpn'. Can eac3to demux to ja or jpn? I'm using the eac3to gui. Thankyou

The names generated by the eac3to demux put the full language names and comments, for instance:
Code:
...Japanese, 'Japanese'.srt
...Korean, 'Korean'.srt
...Spanish, 'Latin America Spanish [SDH]'.srt
...Norwegian, 'Norwegian'.srt
...Polish, 'Polish'.srt
My UsEac3to GUI put only the first 3 caracters to identify the track and can't convert it to the exact language codes.
